Rob Weinstein lives in Deerfield with his wife, Carol (Highland Park class of 1968) and his two daughters, Lara,16, and Jenny, 6. Son Brian, 20, is a junior at University of Arizona, and son Scott, 22, is currently living at home, having graduated University of Wisconsin in May. Scott plans on attending graduate school and wants to become a guidance counselor; he is currently tending bar at The Noodle in Glenview. Rob has been associated with Trabert & Hoeffer Jewels at 111 E. Oak St. in Chicago for the past 22 years. Having "rediscovered" his penchant for thespianism, he has participated in local community theater (both the acting and production sides) in Deerfield, Glenview and Glencoe for the past 9 years. He is currently one of the producers for Little Shop of Horrors to be put on by Actors Theater of Glencoe in April and May of 1999. Although he disliked his piano lessons at age 9, he now envies those who are musically gifted and has started piano lessons again at age 48.
